Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and bad. The rooms were in desperate need of a makeover; they were tired, with stained carpets, dust everywhere, a dirty bathroom sink, and even hair in the corner of the bathtub. When I brought this up to the manager, he seemed indifferent and unresponsive to our concerns, which left us very dissatisfied. I don't think I'll be returning there in the future.
The lodge has a lot of potential being centrally located in the Taos area, close to many attractions, but there were some issues with the rooms not being handicap accessible promptly. The service was exceptional, with staff making great strides in repairs and being very friendly. The location is ideal for exploring Taos Plaza and the dining quality was good, but the restaurant opening times were inconsistent.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms, while a bit dated, were spacious and well laid out with new flooring in the bathroom. The service was excellent, with the staff going out of their way to accommodate our late arrival. The location was superb, with a friendly and helpful atmosphere, unique art on the grounds, and easy access to town amenities. The dining experience was quite delicious, and the facilities were top-notch with much-needed maintenance in progress.
